Refund Policy

We stand behind every bottle that leaves our garden. Because our products are handmade, consumable herbal preparations, we handle returns on a case-by-case basis — always with the goal of making it right.

If your order arrives damaged or defective

We want you to receive your order in perfect condition. If a bottle is broken, the seal is compromised, or something isn't what you ordered:

  • Email us at hello@gaiasgardenorganics.com within 7 days of delivery.
  • Include your order number and a photo of the outer box, packing, and the affected item.
  • We'll replace the item at no cost or refund the purchase price, whichever you prefer.

If a product doesn't work for you

Herbal medicine is personal. A tincture or essence that's perfect for one person may not be the right match for another. If you've tried a product and feel it isn't working for you, email us — we'll often help you find a better-fit product from the line or offer store credit when appropriate. We can't accept returns of opened, partially used, or consumed products for safety reasons, but we'll do our best to find a fair solution.

Unopened, unused items

If you ordered a product and haven't opened it, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the product price (shipping is non-refundable). To start a return:

  • Email hello@gaiasgardenorganics.com with your order number and the items you'd like to return.
  • We'll send return instructions. The buyer is responsible for return shipping, and we recommend a trackable method — we can't refund items that don't arrive back to us.
  • Once we receive and inspect the return, we'll process your refund to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Non-returnable items

For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Opened or partially used products.
  • Products marked "final sale" or purchased from a clearance collection.
  • Bundles that have been partially opened (the whole bundle must be unopened to be returned).
  • Gift cards.

Order cancellations

We process orders quickly, so we can't always catch one before it ships. If you need to cancel, email us immediately at hello@gaiasgardenorganics.com. If the order hasn't shipped, we'll cancel and refund in full. If it has already shipped, please follow the unopened-return process above once it arrives.

Subscribe & Save refunds

You can cancel, pause, or change the cadence of a Subscribe & Save subscription anytime through the Stripe Customer Portal (linked in every subscription confirmation email) or by emailing us. Cancellations take effect before the next billing date. We don't prorate or refund shipments that have already been processed, but if one shows up damaged or defective, the standard policy above applies.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the right product is to return the unopened item for a refund and place a new order for what you want. If that's awkward for any reason, email us and we'll work something out.

Refund timing

Once we approve a refund, it's issued to your original payment method within 2 business days. It typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
